His duty of serving people includes various aspects like resolving disputes, responding to emergency calls, appearing in courts, patrolling, investigating, interviewing eye witnesses, checking for law violations, collecting and preserving evidences, managing traffic maintaining peace and harmony at social events, strike and political meetings etc. Besides having physical fitness, sound academic background and required training, a police officer must be intelligent enough to analyze, tackle stressful situations objectively and take necessary course of action quickly.

  • To grab the reader’s attention, use clear headings, bold and italic typeface, bulleted points and wide margins.
  • Don’t use industry jargons to sell yourself. Mention specific achievements that will ensure greater confidence in the reader to call you for an interview.
  • Use career objective that is specific to your and employers’ needs. Don’t use vague statements.
